We Believe Knowledge Gains Value When Shared
For years, through courses, workshops, live surgical events, and cadaver trainings organized in Turkey and on international platforms, we have contributed to hundreds of our colleagues' development of knowledge and skills in minimally invasive surgery. We continue to organize theoretical and practical training programs in many areas, especially vNOTES, laparoscopy, robotic surgery, urogynecology, and pelvic anatomy.
On this page, you can see moments from our past trainings and the valuable learning environments we created together.
If you would like to participate in future courses, hands-on trainings, and scientific events; to enhance your experience and learn current surgical techniques practically, you can follow our upcoming training programs or contact us.
We continue to learn, produce, and shape the future of surgery together.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Endometriosis (Chocolate Cyst)?
Endometriosis is a disease related to the estrogen hormone, caused by the presence of cells similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) outside the uterus. It is reported to occur in one out of ten women of reproductive age. It can lead to symptoms such as painful menstruation, pain during sexual intercourse, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility.
Who is eligible for in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment?
IVF treatment should be considered when conception has not occurred despite regular, unprotected sexual intercourse at least 2-3 times a week for 1 year in women under 35, and for 6 months in women over 35.
What is vNOTES (scarless surgery)?
vNOTES is a minimally invasive surgical method performed vaginally without any incisions in the abdominal area. It offers advantages such as less pain, shorter recovery time, and no visible scars. Prof. Dr. Cihan Kaya is the first practitioner of this technique in Turkey.
Can fibroids become cancerous?
Fibroids are mostly benign tumors. However, rapidly growing, painful fibroids, especially in older women, should be investigated for malignancy.
Which diseases are treated with Neuropelviology?
Neuropelviology covers the diagnosis and treatment of problems arising from nerve damage in the pelvic region, such as chronic pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, constipation, painful sexual intercourse, leg pain, and gait disorders.
Does IVF treatment cause early menopause?
No. During ovarian stimulation in IVF treatment, eggs that would naturally be lost in that cycle are rescued and utilized. Therefore, assisted reproductive treatments do not accelerate the onset of menopause.
